Lehigh Valley United ’96 is a premier level U12 girls soccer team that formed in the spring of 2007, bringing together a group of dedicated young soccer players from around the Lehigh Valley. We participate in high-level leagues and regional tournaments and train year round in a fun and challenging environment.

January 3, 2009, Hatfield, Pennsylvania
United ’96 won their second consecutive Indoor State Cup title Saturday, January 3, at the BucksMont Indoor Sports Center. The girls went 3-0 in group play, outscoring their opponents 16-4. In an exciting and extremely well played semifinal match (a rematch of last year’s final), they beat a very strong HMMS team 3-1 and then cruised in the final 6-1 over FC Revolution. Congratulations girls!

November 16, 2008, West Chester, Pennsylvania
The United ’96 Girls completed their undefeated league season this weekend by beating Methacton United and Parkland Premier in the PAGS playoffs to win both the Premiership Manchester United regular-season and postseason titles. They finished the PAGS season with a record of 10-0-1, the lone tie coming in the final regular season game against Methacton. The girls were glad to have a rematch with Methacton in the semifinals, this time prevailing 2-0 and followed that up with a victory over Parkland in the championship.

October 11–13 2008, Centreville, Virginia
The United ’96 girls participated in the prestigious WAGS Tournament over Columbus Day weekend. Considered THE premier all-girls soccer tournament in the US, the girls faced some tough competition over the three-day weekend, going a perfect 5-0 in the process and outscoring their opponents 15-4 to add another championship trophy to their collection. United ’96 will be on the road again in November as they head to Raleigh, NC to participate in the CASL Shootout.

August 30–31 2008, Allentown, Pennsylvania
The United ’96 girls had another strong weekend of soccer capturing the inaugural Lehigh Valley United Lou Ramos Classic. The girls had an offensive explosion scoring 18 goals and allowing only 2. They defeated Buckingham Hurricanes 6-1 and Somerset Hills 4-0 in group play on Saturday. On Sunday they knocked off Parkland Premier 4-0 in the semifinal and finished off FC Revolution 4-1 in the Championship. The girls are looking to continue their success as they begin their PAGS fall season next weekend.

August 23–24 2008, Downingtown, Pennsylvania
United ’96 started off the fall season in great form as they participated in the Championship flight of the Spirit United Kickoff Classic. The tournament was host to the top teams in Eastern PA and New Jersey and Lehigh Valley’s only loss of the weekend came in the Championship game, 1-0 to Spirit United Gaels, currently ranked #10 in the US according to NSR.

May 24–26 2008, Downingtown, Pennsylvania
United ’96 added more hardware to their collection over Memorial Day weekend, with their only loss coming in the championship game against Mount Laurel Blast 1-0, a team they had beaten by the same score just two days earlier.
March 30, 2008, Richmond, Virginia
Lehigh Valley United ’96 participated in the prestigious Jefferson Cup Tournament held in Richmond, Virginia, this past weekend. The Jefferson Cup is currently ranked the #5 youth soccer tournament for girls in the United States. Each year the tournament draws an average of over 150 State Cup Champions, over 50 Regional Champions and over 5 National Champions per year throughout the nine age groups and turns down an average of over 500 teams per year.

March 8, 2008, Feasterville, Pennsylvania
On Saturday March 8th at the Sportsplex in Feasterville, PA United '96 girls joined the Lehigh Valley United U16 boys, U12 boys, and U11 boys as 2008 Indoor State Cup Champions. The exciting finale saw the United girls take the defending champions to sudden-death overtime.
